While Natalia was definitely more of a crier than a killer, the patrons of the Dallas Museum of Art solved the mystery and got to experience art as they did so. This is the most unique event I've been part of to-date, and I think the world needs more museum murder mystery parties! I'm grateful to Ally Beans, CSA for the chance to bring this Czech portrait to life.
This October, I along with a team of lovely actors got to quite literally bring art to life in a Murder Mystery event for the Dallas Museum of Art! I brought the “Portrait of Natalia Zakharovna Kolycheva, née Hitrovo,” painted by Élisabeth Louise Vigée-Lebrun to life as the backup singer of Maestro and the Muses, an inter-museum band who suddenly found their lead singer dead.
