<----------- As you can tell, I've always loved overalls.
Hi there, and welcome! I'm Ally. I'm a multi-hyphenate introvert with a deep love for contemporary theatre, new play development, and archives currently splitting time between Atlanta and Dallas-Fort Worth.
I believe there's a place for introverts in the arts.
I've been a self-professed interdisciplinary aficionado for as long as I can remember. I find myself enamored with approaching relationships from a place of abundance instead of competition and find learning about the human experience and how to be in citizenship across differences through theatre always draws my heart.
I'm passionate about stories with space for melancholy and the bittersweet, movement in theatre, environmental science, plays with music, folk musicals, literary adaptations, femme-centric stories, and ensemble work.
I also think being a swing is the coolest job.
Those are the specifics, but I also have a wide and varied interest in all theatrical works and promise to approach your work with
an open heart and curious mind.
When not reading a play or in a rehearsal space, you can find me antique shopping, reading with a large cup of tea (this one's Earl Grey---->), quietly competitive at a board game night, or enjoying butterscotch chocolate chip cookies.
