This past week, I had the honor of serving as a panelist for the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas' Decoupled Digital 2023 Conference, Dramaturgical Landscapes.

Alongside our thoughtful leader Suzi Elnaggar, colleagues Trent Sutton, Abigail Dillard, and I reflected upon the landscape of producing new works in Waco, TX, with our panel:

UNCHARTED WATERS:
Starting New Works Festivals & Programming in Unexpected Places

It was an honor to contribute to this work! If you are already a LMDA member, you can access it at the digital conference hub below. If not, contact me, and I'm happy to talk about it!

Come join me at the Firehouse Theatre for a hat trick as I team up with King Arthur's clan in Monty Python's Spamalot!

I get to do my favorite thing by supporting this story from the
Ensemble, where you'll see me not yet dead, cheer on the Lady of the Lake as one of her Laker Girls, and even as a "harmless" bunny.
This one's been quite a laugh!

I've got a story that's strange but true... It's my first Dallas show! I did this show back in high school and thought it, put simply, was a bop. I'm so glad to be revisiting all its fun and games in Dallas.

I'm dancing my heart out in the Ensemble alongside a cast that's bringing color to all my dreams.

This May, I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX, with my
BFA in Theatre Performance
with Concentration in Musical Theatre!

In my time at Baylor, I focused especially on dramaturgy, ensemble-based theatre, stage combat, and other academic, interdisciplinary interests through Baylor's Interdiscipinary Core in the Honors College.

I'm spending the summer studying theatre abroad in Denmark, England, France, & the Netherlands.

I'll be travel blogging for Millennium Tours, so be sure to check those out!

ON THEATRE AND SUSTAINABILITY

In this season of life, Concord Theatricals' family proved an immense teacher for me. I am so grateful for this experience! At the tail end, I was able to write a feature on the environmental plays in their catalog in celebration of Earth Day. Sustainability is something near and dear to my heart, something I think we can each practice in our individual circles more often and also in the theatrical realm!

You can explore my feature and these plays by clicking below.

My time at Baylor is coming to a close this spring with Bryony Lavery's Treasure Island, an adventure story for everyone. I'm most excited by the ways in which this adaptation celebrates adventure being for all ages, all genders, all shapes and sizes as something we all can partake in.

I'll be helming the ship as Captain Smollett, with a dose of stage combat in the mix.

Shows:
February 22-26 at 7:30pm
February 27 at 2pm
